“I like being on the field – right-back, centre-back, left-wing, I’ll do whatever! It’s really good to be finally back in the XI and to play 90 [minutes],” he said after the game.
“I think [I'm more comfortable at centre-back]. There is a reason I play centre-half: I'm not that attacking. I tried my best at right-back but when I switched to centre-back it felt a bit more natural for me.
“I grew up playing basketball and it is a different kind of mechanics you need for it. You have to be able to jump pretty high in basketball so I end up bringing that on the field with me and that is definitely one of my strengths.”
