After picking up his first Crystal Palace win in midweek, Frank de Boer goes in search of his first Premier League victory as Swansea City come to Selhurst Park.
Paul Clement’s side visit with just a point to show from their opening two fixtures, and now have to cope with the permanent loss of Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The Welsh outfit are yet to score a league goal thus far, but retain a set of hungry youngsters looking to fill the Icelandic void.
The mood around the Palace camp has been lifted after knocking Ipswich Town out of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday, and three points on Saturday could be huge going into the international break.
OPPOSITION VIEW
Paul Clement has insisted that taking three points from Selhurst Park will be no easy feat, and that Crystal Palace will give his side a good battle.
“I imagine they are probably more disappointed with the first game, because going to Liverpool is always tough,” he said.
“They will want to put things right and we know it’s going to be a tough game.
“They have a slight advantage because they are at home, but we have won there before.”
