While recent history against the Lilywhites is against them, Palace have lost just one of their last 10 league games at Selhurst Park, which came against Spurs' neighbours Arsenal. In fact, they have only failed to find the net once in that run, and that was against league leaders Manchester City.
Despite being the only club in the top-flight to remain unbeaten in 2018, Spurs have picked up just nine points from the last 27 on their travels, giving another boost to Roy Hodgson and his Palace players.
Spurs' silverware search still intact
Mauricio Pochettino’s team have won eight and drawn six of their last 14 games in all competitions since being humbled 4-1 by Manchester City in the lead up to the festive fixtures, but none of those victories would have tasted any sweeter than their last Premier League encounter as a solitary Harry Kane goal beat Arsenal.
Victory over the Gunners increased the cushion between the north London rivals to seven points, allowing Spurs to cling onto the coattails of their rivals for a UEFA Champions League spot.
Spurs hope to enjoy more memorable nights in that competitions such as the one they had against Juventus nearly two weeks ago. Having found themselves 2-0 down after just nine minutes against the Italian champions, goals from Kane and Christian Eriksen gives them the edge going into the second leg at Wembley next week.
However their FA Cup run has proved anything but easy, as after requiring a replay against Newport County in round four, last weekend saw them held by Rochdale, with the extra fixtures providing Pochettino with further headaches as he aims to end a decade-long wait for silverware.

Palace go into the game with 12 first team players unavailable through injury with Mamadou Sakho, Joel Ward, Jeffrey Schlupp and Martin Kelly are closing in on returns, but won't make this game.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Julian Speroni, Scott Dann, Jason Puncheon and Connor Wickham are all out long-term, while Wilfried Zaha is a few more weeks away from a recovery.
Spurs have just one injury concern coming into this game, with Toby Alderweireld struggling with a hamstring issue although Davinson Sanchez could step in to deputise.
