The Eagles sit bottom of the table, whilst United have made an impressive start to the season and sit joint-top alongside local rivals Manchester City.
Red Devils In The Race
United sit joint-top with City after six games in the top flight, they’re unbeaten and have already scored 17 goals. They are also still in the hunt for the Carabao Cup and beat CSKA Moscow 4-1 in the Champions League in mid-week, where they also top the group.
Romelu Lukaku poses the Red Devils’ major threat, having scored six already, a league high. Henrikh Mkhitaryan has also created five goals, only bettered by City’s David Silva in the opening weeks of the campaign.
View From The Opposition
Jose Mourinho
"We are doing well. We have to play against every club home and away and when I look at the fixtures I only look to how much time we have to recover match to match that’s the only thing that concerns me.
"The mentality is important because we played Wednesday night and didn’t get back until 5am."
Jose on Roy Hodgson: “He is an experienced coach with good players. They have a long time to reach their objectives.”
