Milivojevic took time to praise his coach and pay tribute to the man not only behind last night's 4-1 win, but also behind the Eagles' remarkable turnaround last season and historic victories over clubs such as Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea.
On Hodgson and his latest achievement, Milivojevic said: "I think it's very hard [managing at 71-years-old]. We are very proud to have Roy Hodgson with us. I told him after the game that I dedicate my goal to him because I think he deserves that.
"We are so happy and so proud to have him with us, we can learn a lot from him. I think he's the most intelligent manager in my career and all credit to him. We're going to continue to fight for him because he deserves it."
Milivojevic also offered his view on the match, expressing both his disappointment with the first half performance and joy with the final whistle's result.
"It's a very good feeling of course after beating Leicester 4-1," he said. "I have a lot to say, the first half in my opinion was not good enough from our side but we had a result. In the changing room we tried to respect the scoreline and to change the game. We made one tactical change in the second half I think that gave us a lot of confidence and in the end, we are so happy.
"Now we are preparing for the next game."
One of the quartet put past Kasper Schmeichel was Milivojevic's seventh consecutive penalty of the season. With his steely glare and cool assurance from the spot now becoming trademark, he offered a little insight into just what goes through his mind when stepping up from 12-yards under the eyes of over 30,000 fans.
He explained: "When you start scoring penalties, you get more confidence, more experience, you are calmer. I just try to focus, to be very concentrated and to put the ball where I want. It's not easy, especially in the last 10-15 minutes of the game when you become tired.
"It's not easy but I think I shot well. It was a difficult moment I think because if you miss in that moment, it's 2-1 to them. If you miss, the game changes but I think that goal killed the game and in the end, we scored four."
