Palace's Lizzie Waldie has been named Women's Championship Unsung Hero of the Season at the On Her Side awards.
The versatile defender, who wears No. 12 for Palace, was chosen by supporters as the most underrated player in the division.
Waldie was a solid and consistent performer in the red and blue this season, appearing 16 times for the Eagles in the Women's Championship and - last month - poaching a winning goal away at Sunderland to secure a late 2-1 victory.
Waldie's win caps a hat-trick of nominations for Palace Women, who recently secured back-to-back top five finishes in the Women's second tier.
Promising 18-year-old midfielder Shauna Guyatt was also up for Rising Star of the Season, while fan favourite Fran Kitching was a nominee for Goalkeeper of the Season.
It comes off the back of another impressive campaign, as 15 new signings joined the club and led the side into the top half of the table – with a push for promotion to the Women’s Super League to come.
